The First International Symposium on Apricot and Plum will be organised in Avignon, France, from 22 to 26 April 2024 in the prestigious Palais des Papes (Palace of the Popes). The event is held under the high patronage of INRAE and the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) in Avignon, France. 

This symposium incorporates two symposia under the aegis of ISHS Division Temperate Tree Fruits and ISHS Working Groups “Apricot Breeding and Culture” and “Plum”:

  • XVIII International Symposium on Apricot Breeding and Culture ;
  • XIII International Symposium on Plum and Prune Genetics, Breeding and Pomology.

It will be a 3-day programme including various sessions as well as round tables and visits to experimental sites.
